Here’s another feather in ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli’s cap. The magic of song ‘Naatu Naatu’, from his film continues to enthral the West. Composed by MM Keeravaani, ‘Naatu Naatu’ is nominated for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards. The congratulations for its last win – 80th Golden Globe Awards & Critics Choice Awards – are still pouring in. And while the makers are having a field day trying to reply to the well-wishers’ messages for its earlier achievement, ‘Naatu Naatu’ has created another record of sorts, by getting a nomination in Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards and moving an inch closer to the win. ‘RRR’ stars two South sensations Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao Jr along with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. The film was released in March 2022. The Hindi version is available on Netflix, while the film in several other languages can be found on Zee5.
