On October 23, 2025, the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey hosted its 11th Annual Gala at The Marigold, with over 400 attorneys, judges, and community leaders in attendance. The evening reflected the continued growth and influence of the South Asian legal community in New Jersey.

President Mishita Jethi delivered opening remarks, followed by Immediate Past President Prema Roddam and President-Elect Hozaifa Cassubhai, who played central roles in the evening’s award presentations. The keynote address was delivered by Hon. Mustafa T. Kasubhai, whose words on leadership, justice, and identity deeply resonated with the audience.
SABA-NJ’s leadership honored outstanding legal professionals through its annual awards and concluded with the presentation of scholarship recognitions; reaffirming its commitment to investing in the next generation of South Asian legal talent.
It was meaningful to support a night that not only celebrated excellence, but strengthened the community’s collective voice and future impact.
