Salman Khan is known for his generosity. Complementing this image of his, he has adopted a village in the state of Maharashtra which was affected by floods in 2019. Located in the Kolhapur district, Khidrapur village was totally devastated and Salman has taken it upon himself to rebuild the lives of the people there. He took to Instagram to announce the same, “I wish the Elan Group the very best for their sincere and noble gesture in having adopted the 2019 flood affected Khidrapur village in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. They have adopted the village in Maharashtra to rebuild their homes.” Time and again, Sallu has helped those in need with medical assistance and education.
