Salman Khan has started doling out money to the poor and needy in this time of crisis. The actor is very well known for his charity work which he does along with his father Salim Khan. The Khan family has now come out in support of the 25,000 workers from the film industry who are hit by the Covid-19 lockdown. Ashok Dubey, General Secretary of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), informs, “Salman Khan had asked for the details of 25,000 workers. We received the same from 19,000. Out of this, 3,000 workers had already received Rs 5,000 each from Yash Raj Films. So we have sent the details of remaining 16,000 workers to Salman Khan and he has started the money transfer. Everyone will soon receive their money.”
