Sanjay Gupta was busy shooting his upcoming film, ‘Mumbai Saga’ when the country was hit with the lockdown. The threat perception of coronavirus was so high that the team, comprising lead actors John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Kajal Aggarwal had to abandon the last shooting schedule midway. This has not mired director Gupta’s positive outlook towards work as he is now doing the same over video calls with the editor. “I begin the most crucial part of the film, which is locking the final cut. Only this time, my editor Bunty Nagi and I are miles apart instead of being in the same room. But thanks to the internet, we are virtually together,” says Gupta. Sanjay still plans to release ‘Mumbai Saga’ this year.
