Sanjay Leela Bhansali was rumoured to be planning a film on the Balakot Airstrike. Today, the filmmaker confirmed that the project is indeed in the making. SLB will be bankrolling the movie in collaboration with Abhishek Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar. Kapoor will direct this film, which will celebrate the bravery of the Indian Air Force as they successfully completed the operation. The movie will be packed with patriotism and will pay tribute to the sons of India and their never-say-die spirit. While the producer and director of the venture have been announced, the cast is yet to be officially revealed. Recall, the Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, based on a similar defence mission, emerged as a huge blockbuster of 2019.
