‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ released last week during the Eid festivities and it was expected that the film could garner between Rs 6 and 8 crore on the opening day. Doing a bit better than the expectations, the trade says it opened to a good Rs 9.25 crore at the box office on Thursday. The collections dropped on Friday, when the film stood at Rs 7 crore. But the weekend collections improved and this Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer pocketed another Rs 10.10 crore and Rs 12.15 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. With this, the total four days collection of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ stood at Rs 38.50 crore nett in the domestic market. The film can easily hit the Rs 50-crore mark by this weekend.
