Jaya Bachchan’s address in the Rajya Sabha yesterday created a firestorm in the country as people were seen divided in their opinions. Jaya came down strongly on those trying to tarnish the image of Bollywood and requested the central government to extend support to the entertainment industry. While some came to back the actress, others trolled her for trying to protect the fraternity. Due to this, the Maharashtra state government has increased the security outside Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s bungalows in Mumbai. The Bachchan family is also allegedly being threatened to voice its opinion. Despite this, there’s no addition in their personal security. The additional security in the peripheral area at Bachchans’ suburban bungalows will be revisited as per threat perception.
