While he is basking in the success of ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh Khan is also facing a threat to his life. The actor has been given Y-Plus category security after the state home government reviewed his threat perception and concluded that he needs further protection. Reports suggest that the Mumbai Police have received intel about SRK receiving death threats from unknown people. Following this, the actor’s security has been beefed-up from two police constables to six security personnel working in three shifts for 24 hours. The star will also have five armed guards at his Mannat residence. The extra security cost will be covered by Shah Rukh Khan who will pay a fee in advance for this protection provided by the Mumbai Police. The review committee will take a final decision about the security arrangements later.
