Shah Rukh Khan enjoyed a big opening at the Box Office as ‘Raees’ bagged Rs 20.42 crore, getting a lead over Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’, which made Rs 10.43 crore on the first day. Both the films recorded an escalation in business on Day 2. ‘Raees’ made Rs 26.30 crore and ‘Kaabil’ made Rs 18.67 crore. While ‘Kaabil’ witnessed a higher margin of growth, the film is still lagging behind in the number game. Apparently, ‘Raees’ bagged a lead in the race as it had recorded a massive advance booking. While ‘Kaabil’ has received several positive reviews, there have been polarized opinions about ‘Raees’.
