A few days ago, reports started coming in that Shah Rukh Khan’ ‘Jawan’ may get postponed. According to sources, some portions of the film are still yet to be shot by director Atlee. Therefore, ‘Jawan’ may hit the theatres in October instead of its earlier release date of June 2nd 2023. Although not official statement has been made public yet, the makers may eye the festival time of Navaratri to release ‘Jawan’. Now if that happens, then Shah Rukh’s other film, the Rajkumar Hirani-directed ‘Dunki’ in all likelihood will get postponed as well. The makers of both the films will keep a good buffer between the two to extract maximum mileage from ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’. The latter was to release during Christmas 2023, but it can easily get pushed to the first quarter of 2024.
