After wrapping an intense first leg at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios, the team behind ‘King’ – starring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan are catching their breath. The production has entered a planned intermission allowing the cast and crew to regroup before launching into a high-octane European schedule. Director Siddharth Anand is reportedly crafting a visually explosive chase sequence that will span cities like Budapest, Prague and Berlin. While the main unit is on break, smaller shoots will continue indoors on controlled sets. The next major schedule is expected to kick off in late August. ‘King’ marks the first on-screen collaboration between SRK and Suhana with Abhishek Bachchan playing the antagonist. The film promises a gripping mentor-protégé dynamic set against a backdrop of global intrigue and stylized action. With SRK also involved in post-production and VFX, ‘King’ is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most ambitious cinematic spectacles.
