Shahid Kapoor is flying high with the success of ‘Kabir Singh’ and there could be more than one reason for the actor to celebrate. Buzz suggests that Karan Johar has bought the rights of Telugu blockbuster ‘Jersey’ and is planning to remake the story in Bollywood which could feature Shahid in the lead role. ‘Jersey’ was a sports drama which traced the story of an ageing cricketer, who left the sport, but later planned a comeback. Going by how well Shahid fitted into the character of ‘Kabir Singh’, which is a remake of Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’, it seems like the actor is a hot favorite for remakes.
