Shahid Kapoor is busy promoting ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, which will hit the screens this Friday. And even he can’t avoid the jitters. “I usually get very nervous before a film’s release. I lose confidence and start second guessing that things can go wrong. I go into a useless mode when everything is done. But this time around, I am very excited,” says Shahid. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is a social drama, based on the issue of electricity theft. “The script touched me and I felt that this story had to be told. If people feel the story, there could be some change in the issue,” he adds. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh.
