Latest buzz suggests that Shahid will romance two actresses in the film which is a humorous take on the issue of electricity. Vaani Kapoor was speculated to have bagged the film but Shraddha Kapoor has finally replaced her. And since Shahid plays a lawyer in this social drama, he may face Ileana D’Cruz in court. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will soon go on the floors and is scheduled to be released in August 2018.
