The Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur starrer ‘Jersey’ has been in the news for quite sometime. Just when the team thought that director Gowtam Tinnanuri’s efforts were finally about to pay off as it was ready to release on December 31st 2021, here comes another Covid-19 variant. ‘Jersey’ is postponed keeping in mind the current circumstance with Omicron. The team released a statement saying, “In view of the current circumstances and new Covid-19 guidelines, we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of our film ‘Jersey’. We have received immense love from you all so far and want to thank you all for everything. Until then, everyone please stay safe and healthy. Wishing you all the best for the New Year ahead!” The new release date for ‘Jersey’ will be announced later.
