Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush have been receiving a lot of praise for their latest film ‘Shamitabh’. The duo seems to have impressed the critics and audiences alike. According to trade reports, the film which released on Friday has made approximately Rs 3.5 crore net at the box office on its release day, while on Saturday ‘Shamitabh’ went on to collect approximately 4.25 crores. From the looks of it, ‘Shamitabh’ is slowly growing at the box office as it also faced competition from last week’s release ‘Baby’. This Akshay Kumar starrer is still running in theatres and trade buzz suggests that the film managed to rake in a couple of crores on Friday and Saturday, leaving little room for ‘Shamitabh’.
