Kartik Aaryan was recently embroiled in a controversy regarding his upcoming film ‘Shehzada’ for no fault of his. It is said that the producers of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ stated to a media house that Kartik was throwing a fit as the Telugu hit film was being dubbed into Hindi. On the other hand, director Rohit Dhawan and producer Bhushan Kumar are turning this 2020 flick into Hindi starring Kartik. The news was that Kartik felt threatened that once the original film is dubbed into Hindi, there will be no takers for its remake. Clearing the air, Bhushan Kumar said, “We, the producers, felt that ‘Shehzada’ should release in theatres first and not the Hindi version of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Hence we requested the makers of the original film to not release the Hindi version. It is always the producers’ decision and not the actors’. Kartik is one of the most professional actors I have worked with.” Now that everything’s falling into place, the team will soon resume the shoot.
