Shilpa Shetty’s last big screen appearance was in ‘Apne’, which released in 2007. And 12 years after that film, Shilpa is set to face the Bollywood yet again. Buzz suggests that the actress will play the role of a writer in Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam’s upcoming comedy. The untitled project marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon. Shilpa was away from films, but never really stepped out of the limelight. From numerous TV appearances to doling out cooking tips on her YouTube channel, and from making a fashion splash at events to being a Yoga inspiration, Shilpa has done aplenty. The 44-year-old actress is currently holidaying in Europe and will return to Mumbai in August.
