Shruti Haasan’s upcoming release ‘Sangamithra’ will be announced at the opening night of the 70th Cannes Film Festival. The actress plays the titular role of a warrior princess in the film and has started work on combat training for her character. ‘Sangamithra’ will be directed by Sundar C and made in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The entire cast and crew of ‘Sangamithra’ – Sundar, Arya, Jayam Ravi, Shruti Haasan and producers Narayanan Ramasamy and Hema Rukmani along with production designer Sabu Cyril will reportedly make an appearance on May 18 at the Cannes, when the film will be announced.
