‘Shuddhi’ has been one of the dearest projects of Karan Johar, with Salman Khan stepping in to play the lead. However, after all the news, the makers confirmed that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be doing the film. But it seems like ‘Shuddhi’ will still have to wait till it hits the screens. According to industry reports, Karan Malhotra, who is to direct ‘Shuddhi’, is working on the script of another project. In the meantime, Alia and Varun are committed to other projects, and can start working on ‘Shuddhi’ only after completing those. Karan Johar too is busy with his multi-starrer ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
