Sidharth Malhotra and debutante Rashmika Mandanna have been signed for ‘Mission Majnu’. The film is said to focus on Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent played by Sidharth Malhotra. While Rashmika is a South actress, this will be her Bollywood debut. Another debutant, Shantanu Bagchi, will direct the film. ‘Mission Majnu’ is backed by Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies whose ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ had hit the box office bullseye. Talking about this project, Ronnie says, “‘Mission Majnu’ is a thrilling tale about one of the most daring and audacious operations in the history of RAW. It is an attempt to bring our heroes’ sacrifices and efforts to the forefront.” As for Sidharth, his ‘Shershaah’ is in the making while his last film, ‘Marjaavaan’, just about broke even at the box office.
