Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra were rumoured to come together for a film tentatively titled ‘Shotgun Shaadi’. However, it has now been confirmed that the film is titled ‘Jabariya Jodi’ and will be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures. ‘Jabariya Jodi’ is a story of groom-kidnapping and the lead pair, of Sidharth and Parineeti, has already shot for the promotional posters of the movie. Directed by Prashant Singh, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ will begin its first schedule in Lucknow. Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will come together for a second time, after their 2014 romantic outing ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ which did decent business at the box office.
