After helping migrant workers reach their homes safe and sound and even providing jobs to some, Sonu Sood became a real-life hero in a different way. The actor saved the life of a 19-year-old when the latter met with a car accident on a highway in the small town of Moga, Punjab. The accident took place on a bridge that Sonu happened to be travelling on. As soon as the actor saw the state of the car, he stepped out to provide assistance to anyone hurt or wounded. The vehicle was centrally locked but Sonu was lucky to find front left door open. Sonu carried out the injured youth to his own car and drove down to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, a life was saved by his timely intervention.
