It seems that all the stars have put the controversy of Bollywood versus Southern film industry behind them. While Vijay Sethupathi is acting with Shahid Kapoor in the recently-released web series ‘Farzi’, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt starred in ‘RRR’, which was primarily a South Indian film. It is now being rumoured that Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi will join Shah Rukh and team for ‘Jawan’. The confirmation of the South star for a cameo is yet awaited though. If this indeed turns out to be true, then director Atlee and producer Shah Rukh himself would have pulled a casting coup of sorts. As we wait for these rumours to turn into confirmation, ‘Jawan’ is scheduled to release in June this year.
