The curtain has lifted on Shah Rukh Khan’s much anticipated project. On Saturday afternoon, audiences were treated to a striking teaser that revealed the release date of ‘King’. The clip introduces Khan in a fierce new persona drenched in blood as he smashes through a glass ceiling setting the tone for a spectacle of high intensity action and dazzling imagery. His announcement carried the words, “King is ready to roar on 24.12.2026 in cinemas.” The teaser also declares, “This Christmas, fear wears the crown.” Speculation about the ensemble has been swirling with reports last week pointing to Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi joining the cast. The production team however, has yet to confirm the lineup officially.
