Some Bollywood celebrities like Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap and talent management company Exceed Entertainment which manages Saif Ali Khan have come under the income tax lens. The I-T department raided as many as 30 premises according to sources of these eminent personalities on the charges of evading taxes. Phantom Films, co-owned by Anurag and filmmakers Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena, is also swept across in this raid. It is coming to light that the searches took place in Mumbai and Pune. Reports suggest that it’s vendetta politics as some Bollywood celebs are strong and open critics of the government. Taapsee and Anurag had also come in support of farmers during their protests and keep speaking out against the government and its policies.
