After the Deepika Padukone starrer and produced film ‘Chhapaak’ was declared tax-free in a few states even before its release, Ajay Devgn’s movie is going the same route. Although ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ released almost two weeks ago, the Maharashtra government declared this Devgn production tax-free just now. The film talks about the glorious Maratha community and their struggle for freedom during the historic era. On the occasion, Devgn showed gratitude to the chief minister, “Thank you, Uddhav Thackerayji for declaring ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ tax-free in the state of Maharashtra.” Released on January 10, the film has already minted Rs 190 crore so far and is racing towards entering the coveted Rs 200 crore club.
