Considering all the hype and hoopla around Sujoy Ghosh produced thriller ‘TE3N’, expectations were high for the film’s box office figures. ‘TE3N’ managed to rake in Rs 2.60 crore on its first day of release. The numbers went a bit higher on Saturday, adding approximately Rs 4 crore to its kitty. According to trade reports, at the end of its three days total, ‘TE3N’ stands at a bleak figure of Rs 11.25 crore. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles with Vidya Balan’s cameo as a cop. Set in Kolkata, the film seems to have failed to attract eyeballs, while last week’s release ‘Housefull 3’ continues to earn big numbers and is nearing the Rs 100 crore mark.
