The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Tiger 3’ opened with a bang at the box office. But with many reviews terming the film as average, it couldn’t follow in the footsteps of YRF’s previous Spy Universe blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. ‘Tiger 3’ opened at a whopping Rs 44.50 crore net on the Diwali day which fell on Sunday, November 12th. Itk witnessed a good 33 percent rise on the second day as it collected Rs 59.25 crore net on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday saw a sharp fall in collections with the box office registering Rs 44.75 crore and Rs 21.25 crore respectively. In the four days of its release, ‘Tiger 3’ has collected Rs 170 crore net at the domestic box office. Production house Yash Raj Films reports that the film has grossed Rs 271.50 crore at the worldwide box office.
