John Abraham has been promoting his Independence Day release ‘Batla House’ with much enthusiasm, but it seems like the film may skip its scheduled date to hit the screens! Reports suggest that Ariz Khan and Shehzad Ahmad, the two accused in the real-life encounter, the story which has inspired the film, have filed a plea in the Delhi High Court, requesting a stay on the film’s release. They apparently want to watch the movie and verify if it based on true facts or the story line has been twisted in the name of creative freedom. This plea, which is likely to be heard next week, could well delay John’s film, which is scheduled to hit the screens on August 15, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’.
