Akshay Kumar has finally got his heroine to fit into ‘Bell Bottom’. Director Ranjit Tewari and producer Jackky Bhagnani signed Vaani Kapoor to act opposite Akshay Kumar in the thriller, which is set in the 1980s. ‘Bell Bottom’ is said to be inspired by true events and is scheduled to go on the floors soon, provided the lockdown restrictions ease up. “Vaani is an intelligent and an effective actor. The female lead in ‘Bell Bottom’ has to be in sync with Akshay sir’s onscreen persona. I am confident that Vaani will ace this one,” says Jackky. The actress on the other hand is also on cloud nine, “I am super-super thrilled and excited for ‘Bell Bottom’! Teaming up with the one and only Akshay sir! I can’t wait! Let’s get this started.”
