During the press conference for the same, Varun Dhawan shared his experience working alongside Samantha. Reflecting on his preparation for the role, Dhawan noted that it was less challenging for him compared to Samantha. He remarked, “I think it is public knowledge what she was battling when she got on the show. And I would think I had it hard when I started rehearsing stuff. But when I would see the kind of work ethic this girl had, what she was actually battling, really inspired me.” Dhawan praised his co-star’s resilience and dedication, acknowledging the profound impact her struggle had on him. For those who may not know, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had disclosed that she was dealing with the autoimmune disease myositis.
