Varun Dhawan underwent three months of extensive training to perfect his role of a tailor in his upcoming release ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’. “I had no idea of the technicalities and it is very difficult to needle a thread,” accepts Varun. The actor pierced his fingers multiple times as he learnt the art of stitching. Training under a professional tailor and a costume designer, Varun picked up the skills like cutting and measurements and finally experimented by stitching a blouse, shirt, pant and a pillow case! Directed by Sharat Kataria, ‘Sui Dhaaga’ features Varun as Mauji, a tailor, and Anushka Sharma as his wife.
