‘Veere Di Wedding’ boasts of a starry cast with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and producer Ekta Kapoor. But Ekta is against tagging the film as a ‘chick-flick’. “If you call ‘Veere Di Wedding’ a chick-flick, it would steal the essence of the film. It is a girl-bonding film. It is about friendship and has a lot of layers. All girls around the world will feel a sense of pride after watching the film,” she quips. The team has been shooting for ‘Veere Di Wedding’ in Delhi, which is scheduled to release on May 18, 2018.
