‘Veere Di Wedding’, starring the girl gang of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, has cruised into the line-up of top five first-week collections of 2018. After a weekend collection of Rs 35.57 crore, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ made Rs 6.04 crore on Monday, 5.47 crore on Tuesday, Rs 4.87 crore on Wednesday and another Rs 4.06 crore on Thursday. This took the film’s total to a whopping Rs 56.96 crore in its first week. The film has received a lot of positive response in the Delhi-Punjab circuit but faced tough competition in South due to Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’.
