The news of Alia Bhatt giving a nod to play a Kashmiri wife in Meghna Gulzar’s film based on Harinder Sikka’s book ‘Calling Sehmat’ hit the marquee some time back. Vicky Kaushal of ‘Masaan’ fame has now been roped in to play her husband in this spy thriller. The espionage flick tells the story of a Kashmiri woman married to an army officer, who provides valuable information to the Indian intelligence agency from across the border. The yet untitled film will be set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The team is set to begin the shoot soon.
