Vidya Balan can be termed as the queen of biopics, the latest addition to her career being Shakuntala Devi. The actress is all set to play the mathematical wizard on the silver screen. The biopic will be directed by Anu Menon, who has previously made ‘London, Paris, New York’ and the much-talked-about web show ‘Four More Shots Please!’. Speaking about the project, Vidya says, “I am extremely excited to play the human computer Shakuntala Devi. She truly embraced her individuality, had a strong feminist voice and braved many a naysayer to reach the pinnacle of success.” Vidya will begin shooting for the biopic later this year, with the makers aiming to release the film in summer of 2020.
