Late actor Vinod Khanna played the joyful part of Salman Khan’s stepfather in ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Dabangg 2’. The actor passed away in April 2017 and will be sorely missed in the third installment of the film. To compensate for the loss Salman announced that Vinod Khanna’s brother, Pramod Khanna will be roped in to essay Prajapati Pandey in ‘Dabangg 3’. Directed by Prabhu Dheva, ‘Dabangg 3’ promises a whole lot of quirks. The film will feature Sallu grooving to the tune of ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’, while Kannada superstar Sudeep has been roped in to play the antagonist against Chulbul Pandey. ‘Dabangg 3’ is scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas this year, on December 20.
