We informed our readers back in August how Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon may come together after 19 long years to work in a film. Titled ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, also known as ‘Welcome 3’ is a franchise in the hit series ‘Welcome’. But even before the latest film could gather some steam, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a notice to put ‘Welcome 3’ on hold due to non-payment of dues by producer Firoz Nadiadwala. It must be noted here that the organisation had already issued a non-cooperation against the maker three years back. Although ‘Welcome 3’ is directed by Ahmed Khan, payment via cheques to another director-producer, Anees Bazmee had bounced, for which he had complained. Jyoti Deshpande, CEO of Viacom 18 and Jio Studios are the other two producers in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
