The latest chapter in the ‘Welcome’ series is preparing to reach audiences on June 26th, but its path to the big screen has been anything but simple. Before receiving clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ underwent a careful process of revisions. Reports suggest that 18 separate changes were demanded, touching everything from spoken lines to visual details. The final product now carries a UA 16+ rating and runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Among the adjustments were the trimming of scenes that highlighted bikini imagery, close shots of hips, and dance moves considered unsuitable. Performances involving Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez were reshaped, while certain gestures were substituted with lighter reactions featuring Vindu Dara Singh. Though the edits were brief in duration amounting to roughly 10 seconds, they reflect the board’s influence on shaping what audiences will ultimately see.
