Zee Music has established a good strong hold in Bollywood. Now we hear that, as its latest acquisition. Zee Music has acquired the rights to Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment’s forthcoming slate for an undisclosed amount.
With this new deal the music rights of forthcoming films like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees directed by Rahul Dholakia, the Farhan Akhtar starrer Rock On 2, the Katrina Kaif – Sidharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho, and Mr. Chalu will reside with Zee Music.
Earlier Zee Music had struck a similar deal with Fox Star Studios to acquire the music rights of all their films, including Bombay Velvet, Bang Bang and Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
