Here’s another feather in the cap for Ayushmann Khurrana. The multitalented personality that he is – actor, singer, musician and host – Ayushmann’s last release ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ will open the prestigious Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards (OIFFA) scheduled to be held this month in Canada. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar opposite Khurrana. “‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’s’ content, realism and performances made it one of the better films of this year,” said an ecstatic Ayushmann, whose film hit the screens in February. “I am glad that it worked well with the critics and the audiences alike,” he further added. The four-day festival starts July 22 and will feature 15 cutting-edge global South Asian films in famous theaters like Cineplex and National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
