Several Bollywood films have been banned in Pakistan and the most recent one being Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Neerja’. Actor from across the border, Fawad Khan reasons that despite all the bans, the audiences still get to enjoy most of the flicks, “How much ever you try to stop a film, somehow it will make its way into that area. Eventually the audiences do get to see it, through a DVD or through some other source.” The actor however agrees that films not releasing in Pakistan is a loss for the industry, “The loss economically hurts the person who is in this business but there are some wonderful films still playing in Pakistan,” he adds. Apparently, ‘Neerja’ never reached the review table of Pakistan censor board and was banned before that.
