Filmmaker Karim Morani, accused of rape, has been granted anticipatory bail. The co-producer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Chennai Express’, Karim Morani had been booked by the Hyderabad Police following a complaint of rape allegation by a 25-year-old girl. The court granted bail to the filmmaker on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However Karim Morani would have to be present at all times, as and when required, by the investigating officer. Reports state that the police are investigating the call details between Morani and the victim to establish whether they were together in Hyderabad when the alleged sexual exploitation took place at a studio in 2015.
