Akshay Kumar is busy churning out blockbusters. After ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, the actor is set to release ‘PadMan’ on Republic Day of 2018. Trade buzz suggests that Akshay and Rajinikanth-starrer, ‘2.0’ which was to release on January 26, 2018, is going through a delay due to heavy visual effects. Akki, in the meantime, is ready to book the same date for his wife’s maiden home production ‘PadMan’ as the work on that is going on in full swing. Hence Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte and Akshay-starrer ‘PadMan’ may well replace ‘2.0’ at the theaters. ‘2.0’ is now expected to release in April 2018.
