Aiswarya Rai Bachchan is synonymous with the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. As the actress gears up for yet another experience at the French Riviera, her next film ‘Sarbjit’ will hit the screens at almost the same time in May. When the actress was asked if her film will be showcased at the festival, Aishwarya said, “I don’t know if they will be able to make the opportunity possible on that platform as well. Given the timelines, if it is possible then the team will look for that opportunity. But there are too many deadlines to be met so this may be an opportunity we may have to regretfully bow out of. We will announce it in the last 10 days. It would be a perfect platform to announce the film.”
