Karan Johar has enthusiastically started the preparations of his ambitious directorial ‘Takht’, which features Ranveer Singh in the lead role. While the team was scheduled to begin shooting this year, Ranveer’s latest announcement has led to a change in plans. According to trade buzz, Ranveer stating that he will shoot for Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ after his current project ‘83’, has led to the schedule of ‘Takht’ being pushed ahead. The Mughal era period drama was to go on the floors in the latter half of 2019, but with Ranveer allotting his dates to YRF, KJo will reportedly shift ‘Takht’ shoot to 2020. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
