Shahid Kapoor has finished shooting for his upcoming film ‘Jersey’. The movie talks about a Phoenix rising from the ashes as Shahid plays a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to come back in the latter years of his life. On completing the shoot, Shahid says, “It’s a film wrap on ‘Jersey’… 47 days of shoot during Covid-19. Just unbelievable. I am so proud of the entire team. It’s nothing short of a miracle. I want to thank each and every one from the unit for coming to the sets every day, putting themselves at risk and doing what we all love.” ‘Jersey’ is the Hindi adaptation of Telugu film by the same name. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who also directed the Telugu version.
