Amitabh Bachchan is set to turn a year older on October 11, as he clocks in a milestone of 75 years. Contrary to reports of a gala celebration, with sit down dinner, handcrafted name cards and an elaborate guest list, Bachchan has said that he has no plans of partying on his big day, “May it be known that all this talk and news of a big celebration for my 75th is not true, ridiculous and an absolute facetious, farcical hibernating illusion! And if there are those from within and without that are making any kind of plans, let it be known to them. I am not going to be there, come what may.” Bachchan’s 70th birthday though was a grand affair.
